Buy Reddit proxies for brand accounts & regional subreddit research

How does Reddit associate accounts with IPs?

Reddit's volunteer-moderated subreddits strictly prohibit coordinated voting/comments from one IP. Employee interactions on shared office IPs may trigger false flags.

Reddit proxies help prevent misunderstandings by assigning a separate location to each account. By dividing your brand's official account, customer support account, and developer relations account with dedicated static IPs, even if you work from the same office, each account will be recorded as an independent user. Of course, according to Reddit's rules, each account should only be used for its designated role and not for boosting each other's posts.

Use ISP and rotating residential proxies separately for Reddit

Criteria for dividing IPs when a brand uses multiple Reddit accounts

The standard is based on roles and individuals. Use separate IPs for official accounts, customer support managers, and event managers. Reddit does not recommend bundling multiple accounts under one IP. Even common practices like 1-3 accounts per IP on other SNS should be changed to one IP per account on Reddit for safety.

Agencies Managing Multiple Reddit Accounts for Clients Should Assign ISP Proxies per Client and Account. Discounts Apply for Purchases of 10 or More, Reducing Costs per IP as Account Numbers Increase.

• 1 brand official account and 3 support staff: 4 ISP proxies
• Game companies managing communities per country: 1 ISP proxy per country
• Quarterly market research: Residential rotating proxy purchases by GB

How to research regional reactions on Reddit

Reddit has many English-speaking users, but country-specific subreddits and local language communities are also active. Before entering a new market, accessing Reddit with a local IP lets you see popular posts and search results, giving you firsthand insight into what questions and concerns local users have about your product line.

This check works without logging in. Choose a country with rotating residential proxies, then open Reddit in a new browser profile or incognito window. Enter the same search term with US, UK, and India IPs one after another, and you'll quickly see how the top subreddits and posts vary by country. Just reading public posts doesn't use much traffic, so 1 GB is enough to explore multiple countries. 1 GB starts at $2.10.

Reddit proxy setup guide

The mobile Reddit app uses proxy settings in the Wi-Fi configuration. For Android, register the Wi-Fi public IP in the allowlist from the dashboard.

1. Copy ISP proxy connection info from the SMMProxy dashboard.
2. Create one profile per account in anti-detect browsers like AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, GoLogin, and Octo Browser.
3. Add HTTP or SOCKS5 proxies to profiles and verify the connection.
4. Match profile language and time zone to the proxy country.
5. Log into Reddit and always access that account from its assigned profile.

How to choose Reddit proxy locations?

Assign account IPs based on the operator's country or the account's target region (e.g., US IP for US consumers, German IP for German community managers).

ISP proxies are available in 28 countries, rotating residential proxies by country and city. Stick to operational IPs once chosen, and switch investigative IPs as needed.

Most Reddit users are in NA/EU. Global brands can manage one English account with a home-country IP; add local-language IPs for regional communities.

Why do Reddit accounts benefit from aged IPs?

Reddit accounts build up activity history and community karma over time. Using the same IP consistently keeps the account's history clean and stable. That's why it's better to buy ISP proxies for Reddit management for longer periods like 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, rather than just 1 week, to maintain the same IP for an extended time.

Extending on the dashboard before the period ends keeps the IP unchanged. Longer durations lower the monthly cost, making it advantageous for long-term account operation.

Are Proxies Safe for Reddit Operations?

Proxies separate access locations for each account, preventing accounts from different employees being linked due to the same office IP. Next is the operation method. Reddit takes the rules of each subreddit and Reddit as a whole very seriously.

For brands, it's best to clearly state the company name in the account, post promotional content only in subreddits that allow it, and respond sincerely to questions. Using Reddit ads alongside this approach ensures natural continuity between official account activities and ads. Proxies are tools that help maintain a clean access environment for transparent operations involving multiple people.

How to prepare IPs for new Reddit accounts?

When creating a new brand account or new manager account, start by creating it on an IP dedicated to that account from the beginning. If you create the account on office Wi-Fi and later move it to a proxy, the initial record remains on the office IP, giving it the same starting point as other employee accounts.

When signing up, email verification, and first post creation are all done from the same browser profile using an ISP proxy, all account activity stays consistent from day one. For new accounts, it's best to naturally start by subscribing to relevant subreddits and engaging in conversations through comments during the first few days. Many subreddits have account age and community karma requirements, so check each subreddit's guidelines first.
